Nobody starts from the same place, so we do not start everyone in the same way. The first lesson exists to see where you are today.

Moving from a manual to an automatic car
An automatic car is not simply an easier car. It is a different way of driving, and it is worth learning properly.
The school has both a manual and an automatic training car, so the lessons take place in the type of car you actually want to drive. If you are looking for a first licence with an automatic car instead, see the automatic car driving licence page.

How long will it take?
We will not promise a fixed number of lessons before seeing how you drive. What the training depends on:

Part of the training can also take place in your own car, when the instructor judges that your level allows it safely and the necessary conditions are met.

Practical familiarisation with driving in Athens
If you already hold a licence that legally allows you to drive in Greece, refresher lessons are a practical way to get used to Greek roads: the way traffic behaves in Athens, road signs and priorities, junctions, avenues and parking in tight city spaces.
This is practice and familiarisation only — it is not a licence procedure and it does not by itself give you the right to drive in Greece. Before the lessons, you need to hold a licence that legally allows you to drive here.

Questions about refresher lessons
Yes. It is one of the most common reasons people come for refresher lessons. We start from the basics, in suitable conditions, and move gradually into real traffic, so that you build the everyday experience you did not get after passing your test.
We start with a conversation about your experience and a practical assessment in calm conditions. Where needed, we go back over basic checks, road signs, priorities and observation, and then move gradually to normal traffic, larger roads, parking and everyday routes.
There is no single number that is right for everyone. It depends on your previous experience, how long you have been away from driving, your level today, the goal of the training and your actual progress in each lesson. We will not promise a specific number of lessons before seeing where you stand.
Yes. The school has both a manual and an automatic training car, so the lessons can be given with the transmission you actually want to drive.
Yes. Refresher lessons, and the explanations that go with them, can be given in English.
No. Getting used to a different type of car or to specific driving conditions is a perfectly practical reason for extra training.
When the instructor judges that your level allows it safely and the necessary conditions are met, part of the training can take place in your own car, so that you get used to the vehicle you will actually be driving.
Once you have reached a suitable level, we can work on routes you genuinely need, within reasonable and safe limits and according to the driver's level.
Yes. We can dedicate lessons specifically to parking and manoeuvres, in real conditions similar to the ones you meet every day.
Yes, provided your level allows it. Moving to larger roads happens gradually and only when it is judged safe and useful for your goal.
