Each category has its own minimum age and its own riding entitlement. Start here.

Motorcycles up to 125cc with a maximum power of 11 kW, under the conditions laid down for the category.
- A2From age 20
up to 35 kW
approx. 47 hp
A2 is not defined by engine size. The main limit concerns the power of the motorcycle and the technical conditions laid down for the category.

Your age determines which category you can obtain. If you already hold a motorcycle category, different upgrade options may apply.
For an underage candidate, where this applies, the consent of a parent or guardian is required during the procedure. We will explain exactly what is needed in your own case.

The lessons and the procedure change depending on what you already hold.
I do not hold any licence
For a first licence, the theory training also covers the general part, whichever motorcycle category you choose.

The category you can obtain depends on your age.

Since you already hold a car licence, the procedure and the compulsory lessons differ from a first licence.

You do not repeat the 21 car theory lessons. The category available to you depends on your age and on the conditions in force.

Only interested in a bike up to 125cc? Code 121 may cover you.
Code 121 allows you to ride category A1 vehicles up to 125cc / 11 kW, under the conditions in force, within Greek territory.

It can apply to a motorcycle with a clutch or an automatic one, depending on the training and the corresponding entry on the licence.

How do I start a motorcycle licence?
The administrative procedure is handled digitally. We guide you through every step.

Your photo and signature are submitted through MyPhoto, the official Greek digital photo service.

Online application and authorisation of the school
This is done through the Driving Licence Digital Services of gov.gr, the Greek government's online portal.

Medical certificates
Only where they are required, depending on whether this is a first licence or an extension. We will tell you exactly what applies in your case.

Government fees and payments
The fees differ depending on the case: a first licence, an extension from category B, or an extension of an existing motorcycle category.

Training and Examination Card
Once the administrative procedure is complete, the Δ.Ε.Ε. (Training and Examination Card) is issued and training can begin.

The application and the authorisation of the driving school are submitted through the official gov.gr platform.

Ask us and we will tell you exactly which fees apply to you.
The real training
On a motorcycle, control comes first.
Good motorcycle training starts with genuine control of the machine. On the training area we work systematically on balance, precision of control and the required test manoeuvres and, depending on the stage of your training, we continue in real traffic conditions in the wider area.
The aim is not simply to learn the test manoeuvres, but to build sound foundations and real control of the motorcycle.

We explain every stage in English — the application on gov.gr, the MyPhoto photo and signature, the e-Paravolo government fees and the Δ.Ε.Ε. Training and Examination Card that allows official training to begin.

For a motorcycle up to 125cc and up to 11 kW you need category A1, from the age of 18. If you have held a category B car licence for more than 6 years and you are over 27, code 121 may cover you for riding up to 125cc within Greece.
A1 covers motorcycles up to 125cc and up to 11 kW. A2 is not defined by engine size but by a maximum power of 35 kW and the technical conditions laid down for it. A covers motorcycles with no restriction on power or engine size.
AM from 16, A1 from 18, A2 from 20 and A from 24. Category A is also possible from 22, provided you have held A2 for at least 2 years.
For an extension from category B to a motorcycle category, 10 motorcycle theory lessons and 12 practical lessons are required. You do not repeat the 21 car theory lessons.
